Fran Pedano is the middle of the #3PedanoRacers and competes weekly in his Lightbeam Health Solutions, Pedano Racing Outlaw entry. Franny got his start in the sport after seeing a friend compete a few different times, and like his siblings, has been hooked ever since. 2018 was a big step in the right direction for Fran and his team, as the 13-year-old went on to capture twenty-five podium results and was named Texas Outlaw Most Improved Driver, for his rise in on-track performance over 2017. Fran's favorite moment of the year was visiting Charlotte Motor Speedway and getting the chance to race at the venue. As the 2018 season comes to a close, the focus and goal for Pedano is simple going into 2019, get faster and beat his sister, Christina. Over his first two seasons behind-the-wheel, Fran has a full list of accomplishments to his name, to go along with his 2018 Most Improved Driver award. These include a Top 3 finish in the overall Texas State Championship every year he has competed, along with a podium finish in the 2018 Summer Stampede title. Away from the race track, Fran takes every opportunity he can to play Lacrosse as well as a few games on his PlayStation 4. Franny has the dream of one day competing at the highest level of NASCAR, and looks up to Team Penske star Brad Keselowski in his path to that point, even picking the famous No. 2 as his own car number, the same number BK has taken to many Cup Series wins and a championship title. Pedano would like to thank his family, as well as the support him and his team receive from Lightbeam Health Solutions.
